The shelter offers a warm home environment and a place of belonging facilitating sharing and the creation of bonds of solidarity. Offering a rural character it is located in the West Island of Montreal. It hosts five families and two single women at a time.

To access it, you must call 514-620-4845 x 221 and talk with a counsellor or a volunteer who will assess whether we are the right resource for you. We shelter women and their children and single women who are victims of conjugal violence only. During your stay you will be asked to participate in community life and meet with counselors. Together you will set the goals of your stay. Our intervention approach is holistic, global and respectful.

The length of you stay will vary according to your needs.  It can vary from a few nights to a few months but will be short term since we are a front line emergency resource.

Our external services or our second stage house Alternat’Elle can possibly answer your long term needs.
