A fun and creative way to show your support for the West Island Women’s Shelter is to organize a fundraising event, as an individual or as part of a group. Community members have been responsible for some of our most memorable events!

 

Donation in Lieu of Gifts – Throw a birthday, anniversary, graduation or special event and ask your guests to make a donation to the cause in lieu of gifts.

Office Fundraising Challenge – Speak with everyone in your office and get them to challenge each other to raise the highest amount.  Give the « winner » a prize.  Ask your company to match the amount of donations you receive from yours donors.

Happy Hour Party  or Tea party – Invite your friends and co-workers to a fun evening.  This could be done in your linving room or backyard.  Charge $20 per person.
