HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE
As a non-profit organization, our shelter relies on your help. Your support is the testimony of a community that refuses to be silent, indifferent …
A Tax receipt will be offered for a donation of 10 Dollars and more
250.00$ : Adopt a Heart Teddy Bear for a child
With every donation, a child who enters our Shelter will be given a Teddy Bear in your name, to comfort them during their trying days.
Your gift will contribute to making our Shelter not only a physically safe place to be, but also a haven of warmth and comfort.
“I can talk to my teddy and tell him when I am feeling sad.” – S., six years old
25.00$ : Offer support to a woman living in our second-stage residence
Support, counseling and accompaniment services for women residing in our second-stage house. With your donation of 25.00$, you will be offering support to a woman in her de-victimization process and help her in regaining control over her life, allowing her to continue what she already started at our shelter.
“I lived in the dark; now I see the light.”
15.00$ : Offer support to a child living in our second-stage residence
Support and accompaniment services offered to children residing in our second-stage house. By making a donation of 25.00$, you will be contributing to the de-victimization process of one of the children in order to diminish the effects of conjugal violence on her or him.
“I wanted to die, I was so afraid of becoming like him . . .” – T., 10 years old
5.00$ : Offer a coffee to a woman arriving at the Shelter
Considering that the Shelter welcomes an average of 60 women yearly, with or without children, the bedrooms need frequent maintenance. Your donation will help us to redecorate rooms that haven’t been touched in years, to make them clean and welcoming for the women and children living there.
“At home, my husband forbade me from even sleeping in a bed. At the Shelter, I had a place just for me.”
